Car vs Building

Fire and EMS personnel responded to a motor vehicle accident involving a commercial building Sunday evening at Laurel Rd and Bellerose Ave.
 
 
 The driver of the auto was treated and transported to a local hospital with minor injuries by EMS crews.
 
 Fire crews secured the vehicle and assessed the damage to the building.
 
 
 Town of Huntington Fire Marshal and the Building Inspector responded to the scene due to the structural damage.
 
 
 The scene was turned over to the Suffolk County Police Department.
