PREVENTION IS EVERYONES BUSINESS

One of the biggest parts about the fire department is fire prevention. Fire Prevention is a  year round business. East Northport Fire Department is always making trips to different places to teach fire prevention with the help of their Fire Safety Trailer.  This allows East Northport to bring fire prevention to the public. Every year East Northport visits Elementary schools in our District to teach fire safety.  While the younger students are watching prevention videos or having a group discussion with the firefighters, the older students are actually inside the Fire Safety Trailer with firefighters learning how  to escape in case of a fire in their house.

Visit us at Open House day to see what your kids are learning. Our Open House is held in conjunction with East Northport festival weekend held in the fall.
