| On October 22, 2004 the East Northport FD responded to reports of a motor vehicle accident at the corner of Pulaski Rd and 3rd Street. Upon arrival the ENFD found a red SUV on its side and a gray Jeep in the intersection. Under the command of Chief Tom Mattos and 2nd Asst. Chief Bruce Gosik East Northport responded with 2 ambulances, 1 engine, 1 rescue and a fire police unit. East Northport Rescue transported two victims to Huntington Hospital. | On April 9, 2004 at 2115 hours the East Northport FD responded to a report of smoke showing from the roof of the KB Seafood on Laurel Ave. Upon arrival of first due chiefs East Northport found heavy black smoke coming from the roof. After more investigating members found fire in the attic. Under command of Chief Tom Mattos and 2nd Asst. Chief Bruce Gosik over 50 members from East Northport and Northport battled the blaze. 3 engines, one ladder, one rescue and one ambulance had the blaze under control in just over an hour. | On Thursday April 8 2004 at 2320 the East Northport FD responded to a report of a fire at the Marty’s recycling center on 10th ave. Upon arrival of first due chiefs East Northport encountered heavy smoke and flames through the roof of the building. Under the command of Chief Tom Mattos, 1 Asst. Chief Bill Gilman and 2 Asst. Chief Bruce Gosik over 50 firefighters from East Northport, Northport and Greenlawn extinguished the blaze in just over an hour and half. East Northport responded with 3 engines, one ladder, one rescue, 2 ambulances and a fire police unit. Greenlawn responded with 1 engine and 1 ladder, Northport responded with 1 engine. | Thursday April 8, 2004 members of the East Northport Fire Department responded to reports of a car into the Best Yet market on Larkfield Rd. Members found a Nissan Pathfinder that hit into the brick side of the market. Under the command of Chief Tom Mattos and 2nd Asst. Chief Bruce Gosik 15 Fire and Rescue personnel were dispatched with one heavy rescue and one ambulance. East Northport Rescue transported both victims to Huntington Hospital. Photos By Bryan Gosik |

| The call came in at 2200 hours for a report of smoke showing from an old abandoned grocery store. When chiefs Tom Mattos, Bill Gilman and Bruce Gosik arrived on scene smoke was showing with visible fire seen through the front windows. Engine 2101 was first due. Engine 1 hit the hydrant and made a hard interior attack with a 2 1/2 line. Ladder 2102 followed and set up roof operations. The East Northport FD mutual aided Greenlawn FD for a FAST team and Northport FD to standby. East Northport was able to put the fire out in just over 1 hour. East Northport responded with 3 engines, a ladder, a rescue truck and 2 ambulances. Greenlawn FD responded with a rescue truck. All units were back in service by 2330 hours. Photos By Bryan Gosik |

| On Saturday March 6, 2004 the members of the East Northport FD responded to reports of a MVA car into tree. Upon arrival 2nd Assistant Chief Bruce Gosik found 2 white cars involved with one into a pole, the other into a shrub. East Northport responded with 2 ambulances, 2 engines and a fire police vehicle.
